**** You don't have to read this section because it's just me ranting about Erika's (frostedlemon.diaryland.com) situation
These are the reason why she's fuck:
1. She's introverted, shy and doesn't voice herself at all. Which will cause for trouble because no one understands her view, and when presented w/ a problem... and when she explains, she's considered as a child.
2. She's a romantic. That will just screw you in the end. She wants everyone to be happy, even if she sacrifices herself.
3. People expect her to sacrifice her beliefs, her views, just so that they can view her as "acceptable".
4. The people that she hangs w/ press their views on her and expect her to reform.
5. And when she refuses, the screw her over, saying they can't "Accept someone who runs their life w/ complete stupidity."
7. And then say that she's influenced by the world... when in reality they are trying to influencing her, when society it's self is put enought pressure.
My view on this:
(No offense Erika) If she wants to fuck up her life, let her. Experiences are what you make of them. If she wants to drink and smoke weed. Let her, for god's sake... who ever thinks that she's weak and stupid, sound's like a smothering parent.
And someone said that she's no better than anyone in the Delaware area... no one is good in that area. You're trapped. And to find ppl where you can let your masks fall and be yourself is hard.
Erika can't grow in that area because of ppl smothering her. She can't explore new possibilities and Live the way she wants too, because of Delaware (and her so-called friends) putting her in a box and spot lighting her... and saying "Oh! Look at her flaws!"
People don't have flaws. They only seem that way because they aren't the exact replica of yourself.
It's my theory, she does what she does... break "promises", and what not, and gets drunk and smokes, is because she can't show herself w/o the mask. And w/ weed and alcohol, she can let her guard down, and show ppl her "real" (or something close to it... just a lil too happy or can't walk striaght) self. Because w/o it... she's basically a person that doesn't show emotion. You can't even make the grl show anger. Trust me i've tried... in my own evil ways... but it's just nice seeing her happy. You don't know how great it makes me feel, knowing that she's meeting ppl in the gay bars that have an understanding of what being gay is like and making friends, because i'm worried about her.
I'm worried about her, because i left her in DE to rot. And i couldn't put her in my suit case and drag her here to TU w/ me.
And for whoever had to make her promise, Fuck You.
If you can't promise me that you'll make her happy, then you have no right to make her promise anything.
Promises are curses.
The ppl(friends *smolders* pfft... yeah right) cursed her, and they want compensation for that curse, for the "effort" they put into it. If you were her friend, you would Accept her for who she is. And not put restrictions on her. Make her feel guilty and unworthy of whoever's presence.
If you put barriers on ppl who you call friends, show's you don't trust them. It show's that they aren't worthy of you're full attention.
No friend should do that.
Let them live.
Cuz living is all you can do while you're stuck on this earth. And to waste it... is just pathetic.
